The other day, the final of the Wills Cricket Trophy was played at the Eden Gardens between Bengal and Mumbai. The Mumbai team won the toss and elected to bat first. Mumbai was all out for 148 runs scored in 45 overs. The Bengal team started cautiously and ran up to 50 for 1 in 12 overs. Then they lost 3 quick wickets. With the score at 79 for 4 in 20 overs, Gopal, Bengal's captain, came out to bat. He cut, drove, pulled and hooked the Mumbai bowlers mercilessly. With the score at 138 for 6, Gopal was run out.
